Outdoor Learning Officer

Role: Outdoor Learning Officer

This is a full time, permanent post of 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be appointed within the HEO salary range of £31,681 - £34,279 per annum.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to help us achieve our vision of 100% of primary schools undertaking regular outdoor learning across the National Forest. The role will also facilitate the development and delivery of outdoor learning programmes for secondary schools and explore opportunities for widening provision to early years and other learner needs.

The successful applicant will establish relationships with schools, providers and the wider education and environment sectors which are built on trust in our ability to support and facilitate high quality outdoor learning for children and young people, in wooded settings.

You will be responsible for all aspects of project design, delivery, monitoring performance and sharing of best practice. The successful applicant will have at least three years’ experience in a relevant field, with experience of outdoor learning provision.
