Ornithologist

We are seeking an Ornithologist to join our well-established company for our Inverness Office. We work on a diverse range of projects from local conservation, to large scale infrastructure developments across the North of Scotland and the Islands. Essential:

• Experience in surveying Schedule 1 species in Scotland
  and be familiar with a range of methodologies and techniques.

Desirable:

• a willingness to assist with other ecological surveys and help out with holiday cover for other staff in their roles, ECOW eg
• ability to travel across the Highlands and Islands and spend some time away from home

• be able to transfer survey results to QGIS or similar (training given)

Start date: negotiable
Salary: £34,000-£45,000
