Description:

Changeworks was recently awarded the contract to establish and manage the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for the Highlands and Islands. We are seeking talented individuals to deliver this new initiative, funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. As one of the three leading managers of a team of energy specialists, your mission will be to make 'Sustainable energy the choice for everyone in the Highlands and Islands'.

Based in Inverness, you will work closely with, and be supported by, the Energy Saving Trust and the Energy Saving Scotland advice network. You will also work closely with local authorities and other key stakeholders across the Highlands and Islands.

Operations Manager

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Centre's operational activities. Reporting to the Centre Manager and with responsibility for the Outreach Engagement Officers, Energy Advisers, Transport Advice and Microgeneration Specialists, you will manage a team of people delivering advice and in-depth support to householders, local government, businesses and communities. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local organisations to support the delivery of these services. A knowledge of sustainable energy is essential.

You will be an excellent people manager with experience of project management and a natural ability to engage with people and get results.
