Operations Management Field Team Member 2

 

The role

We provide a support service to Field Operational Teams.

This includes loading and unloading of materials, storage of plant/equipment/PPE, purchasing of supplies, updating computer records, all depot duties. 

A key part of the job will be to respond to emergency flooding and pollution incidents so you'll be included in a 24/7 standby rota.

The team

We work to reduce the risk of flooding and its consequences to properties and infrastructure in the South East - West Thames area.

Experience / skills required

 

We’re looking for an operative with some experience of:

• plant operations, i.e. using a telescopic handler and a forklift and mobile crane;

• computer skills;

• understanding of health and safety documentation;

• working within a team.

Other key requirements for this job include sound knowledge of health and safety, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a small team. A full driving license is required and training will be provided. 

Additional useful information

This is a depot based position, starting at Field Team Member 2 and you’ll be working from Osney depot.
