JOB OPPORTUNITY IN WALES (Caerphilly):  Operations and Sales Support Co-ordinator

Southern Solar Ltd is an expanding solar energy installation company. We provide a high quality, professional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Our main work is the installation of solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients.
We presently have a vacancy for an Operations and Sales Support Co-ordinator to join our team in Wales. We are looking for a positive and motivated individual to support the installation teams, ideally with experience in a construction administration role. The job offers plenty of opportunity for the right individual to grow in the role and create a successful career for themselves.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• First point of contact for all enquiries, provide information and direct the enquiry to the appropriate person.
• Preparation of pre and post installation paperwork for install teams and clients. 
• Manage incoming and outgoing post; maintain sales records within CRM system. 
• Participation in installation scheduling meetings. 
• Maintain local blog and twitter feed.
• Coordination of the installation scaffold build
• Installation support tasks including warehouse organisation (taking deliveries, manual handling of inventory)
• Stock forecasting, ordering and tracking
• Follow up quotes and assist in closing sales (under the direction of the Sales Manager).
• Support Sales for the Wales Branch under the direction of the Branch Manager and in line with the strategy set by the Commercial and Domestic Sales Manager.
• Pre-qualify sales leads and book appointments for surveys. 
• Maintaining good working relationships with co-workers, suppliers or all other stakeholders
• Attend marketing events and exhibitions under the direction of the Branch Manager.
• Undertake special one-off projects for the whole company.
• Assisting the Branch Manager and other staff.


The successful candidate will ideally have skills and experience in the following areas:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential . 
• Basic understanding of stock management and the purchase order process
• Physically able 
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office in particular Outlook and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills

Desirable 
 
• Degree level Qualification 2.2 or above
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical parts
• Experience of sales and stock management

• Proactive attitude to problem solving
• Self-confident 
• Clear headed under pressure

OTHER
Essential
• Able to work a range of hours
• Enthusiasm for renewable energies

• A starting salary of £18-23k depending on experience (for a 45 hour week inc. breaks).
