GH provides a variety of consulting services to the wind energy business and is world renowned for its excellence and integrity in producing high quality independent engineering consulting services and due diligence reviews. GHA is expanding to meet the growing needs of the wind power industry and is seeking qualified engineering professionals to fill a variety of positions.
To meet a growing demand for operational wind farm performance analyses and asset management services, GH has vacancies for analysts within its Asset Management and Optimization Services (AMOS) team. Activities will include:
- Monitoring the performance of operating wind farms for owners and lenders;
- Analysis of operational wind farm data to assess performance and derive long-term production forecasts;
- Wind farm site visits to inspect turbines and measuring equipment and meet with operations and maintenance staff to discuss operational issues;
- Assistance with the collation and maintenance of an operational statistics database.
Applicants will have a degree in relevant engineering or science field preferably with at least three years of experience in one of the following areas:
- Wind turbine technology
- Control systems
- Signal processing techniques
- Analysis and interpretation of large data sets
Other relevant engineering experience will be considered.
The successful candidate will be confident, self motivated and enjoy taking on challenges and responsibilities. The ability to write clear and accurate reports is essential. Some short-term travel will be required.
