We seek an Online Advocacy and Outreach Coordinator to be responsible for developing and implementing strategic approaches to engaging NWF's constituencies with the organization's programs and campaigns. Therefore, it is essential that this person have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively message organizational audiences for outreach and engagement. The Online Advocacy and Outreach Coordinator is a key staff member of their regional center and the Action Team, and will work closely with program and campaign strategy teams within their region and nationally, directly reporting to a regional staff supervisor for guidance on regional programs, campaigns and activities. He or she will also indirectly reports to NWF's Online Advocacy and Outreach Manager for guidance on national outreach priorities, and for support in implementing effective strategies for mobilizing constituents on- and offline. This position requires a basic familiarity with the strategies, tactics and tools used for advocacy campaigning, outreach and constituent engagement (e.g. tactics: phone banking, direct mailing, event planning, tabling; tools: email blast and online activism software, data management and analysis systems, web content management systems, survey and event registration tools, social network and blog platforms; graphic design and video editing software; mapping tools, etc.).
