Role Summary/Purpose: Commercial interface to OHV haul truck OEM leadership for GE drive system reliability, service and warranty negotiations. Global responsibility for managing all aspects of product service and field service for GE Off Highway Vehicle drive systems and wind gear boxes. Direct manager for Off Highway area service managers, product service engineering and wind gearbox field service. Role CTQ’s include driving reliability issue resolution, warranty expense controllership and negotiation.
Essential Responsibilities - Drive timely cross functional issue resolution on OEM reliability concerns
- Manage warranty claim process
- Negotiate warranty with customer as needed
- Promote GE electric drive systems globally
- Recommend and promote product upgrades to end users globally
- Maintain strong working relationships with OEM leadership and working team
- Interface and build relationships with key OEM distributor senior leadership
- Interface and build relationships with key mine senior leadership
- Create and present executive level presentations internally and for customer senior executives
- GE OHV Service Contract Management
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Willingness and ability to travel as required

- GE Blackbelt Certification (GE employees only)

- Demonstrated ability to manage people across cultures and continents
- Previous experience with direct customer communications
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills

- Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions
- Familiarity with project labor and material quoting tools
