The position
Our Wind Unit is working internationally on the realization of sustainable wind energy projects both
on- and offshore. Our wind energy experts advise project developers, power companies, local and regional
authorities, turbine manufacturers, financial institutions and others in the areas of Strategy, Feasibility,
Development, Construction and Operations. This includes both technical and engineering work, economic
analysis and due diligence. We have also launched a number of software products for supporting
construction and operations.
Your profile

• Technical background, education in HSE and at least MVK or an international equal education.
Preferably HVK or NEBOSH
• 3 to 5 years of working experience, partly ‘in practice’
• Working experience with implementation of HSE management systems (OHSAS)
• Well-known with risk management processes (including design risk assessments)
• Experienced with carrying out inspections and/ or audits (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
• Knowledge of relevant international legal frame work and standards
• Experienced with offshore/ marine environment, HSE aspects of construction, O&M projects and
practical experience with a contractor in oil & gas is considered a pre
• You are a team player, socially-aware and being able to contribute to the coherence of the team
• Sufficiently self propelling, but being self-aware of your capabilities to go to your project manager
if things become critical
• Capable of creating relationships with clients and maintain these on a long term sustainable base
• Having an outstanding grasp of the importance of HSE and willing to spread the message
• Excellent oral and written command of English
As an engineer you like to write reports and supporting the senior consultants of our team. On top of that,
you are able to deliver high quality products within the available time and budget. You like to go offshore
regularly, but it might occur you will be working for a period of time from the office. Occasionally you will
work on projects in the UK, Belgium or Germany for a longer period (weeks consecutively).
