Structural design analyst working on offshore wind, wave and tidal structures. The role will be varied, including structural analysis and design of new and existing systems, package management, offshore supervision, failure analysis/diagnosis of structural or mechanical systems, site work offshore or onshore, all within the diverse environments of offshore renewables. There will be a need to interface/liaise with other consultants/contractors on technical issues, so a broad engineering understanding and ability to communicate complex concepts is required. An ability to understand the requirements of offshore operations and maintenance and to translate these needs into economic and functional designs is a key skill for the role.
