OFFSHORE PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER Kings Langley, Hertfordshire The Company RES is one of the world's leading renewable energy developers. As part of the exponential growth in offshore renewable energy, RES Offshore is expanding its business in the development, engineering, project management, construction and operation and maintenance of offshore renewable energy projects resulting in the need for additional procurement support. The Role The Offshore Engineering Team leads the design of Offshore Renewable Energy projects from initial conception through development, procurement, construction and into Operations and Maintenance. Delivering successful projects from initiation to realisation requires a multidisciplinary development team in which engineering plays a significant role. Due to increasing workload we are looking to expand the engineering capabilities of the offshore department by recruiting another Project Engineering Manager. This person is responsible for ensuring the consistent, efficient and safe execution of all engineering activities on an offshore wind farm project and has 2 main functions:

The role will require some travel within the UK and Europe. It is an office-based role but with possible occasional visits to offshore installations and / or working at heights, for which training will be provided as required. The Person This role would suit a degree qualified engineer with design and construction experience. Previous experience of the offshore sector and/or knowledge of the wind industry would be strongly advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that they have the following:
