Offshore Engineer

Work place: Bilbao (Spain)

Report to engineering responsible of EPC Construction Department of Gamesa would be responsible technical support to Offshore Project managers.

Functions:

- Support technically to Offshore project managers.
- Define and develop electrical and civil technical specifications for Offshore projects.
- Get technical specifications from client and contrators.
- Contact and hand contact with engineering companies (electrical and foundation designers), suppliers, marine contractors, cable installer, SS EPC contractors, as so on.
- Develop technical specifications of each Offshore projects.
- Site technical support.

 

Minimum Requirements

- Civil or electrical engineer.
- Almost 3 years experience on developing, definition and executing both electrical and civil work part of offshore wind projects.
- High knowledge and experience on: Vessels, jack ups, availability in the market; Foundation types: MP/TP, Jacket, GBS; Cables: installation equipment, installation vessels; Offshore SS: platform, equipment, AC, HVDC.
- High level of English. It would be a plus knowledge of other language.
