This a short-term contract position to support the ocean conservation team during a period of transition. The contractor will work out of the CPAWS-BC office and will be provided with a computer, desk, and in-office phone line. In this role, you will support the Ocean Conservation Coordinator and will work closely with the Ocean GIS Analyst and the rest of the CPAWS staff, including contractors. Your role will focus on supporting our work on marine protected areas (MPAs) and MPA network establishment, as well as our efforts on ocean planning in British Columbia. |
