  • Develop a conceptual and mechanistic model of changes in ENSO variability due to global warming that can explain regional impacts of ENSO including in the Australian region.
  • Study the effectiveness of ensemble forecasting schemes in a warmer climate, compared with the current climate, using coupled ocean-atmosphere models developed at CAWCR.
  • Publish the research results in quality papers in international high-impact journals.
