Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is excited to introduce the new role of Network Coordinator. As such, we are seeking a Networking superstar that will be responsible for developing, enhancing and organising networks of volunteers to enable them to maximise campaign efforts and outcomes!

Main responsibilities

Leadership. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to translate strategic plans into operational plans with recruitment and leadership development goals. You will also be an amazing leader that will inspire, motivate and support individuals and teams to succeed in reaching campaign goals.

Strategy and Network Development. You will thrive when it comes to coordinating, developing and implementing dynamic strategies to develop and grow the physical Greenpeace Australia Pacific Network and know how to identify campaign opportunities that can build GPAP network.

Communication / Training & Development. If you have the gift of the gab, and are excited to connect the vision of campaign plans to supporter teams, and oversee all communications with volunteers through face to face, social media, phone and database tools; this role is just for you. You will also be able to development and implement training programs to build supporters campaigning skills and capacity

Required skills, knowledge and abilities

  • More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Achievement in growing engagement in campaigns
  • Professionalism, in particular knowledge of current Greenpeace campaigns
  • Knowledge and/or experience in database management, (experience with Razor’s Edge and/or Engaging Networks a plus)
  • Knowledge and/or experience in managing volunteers and developing volunteerism in a systematic way
