Assistant Conservation Officer

The successful applicant will have a keen interest in owls and a good working

knowledge of UK farmland birds and habitats, excellent inter-personal, written,

English, and IT skills, and a full clean driving licence. Certificates in

H&S at Work and Working at Height advantageous.

Office-based, advisory work via email/phone & record keeping, digital content.

Fieldwork inc. working at height, erection of nest-boxes using heavy ladders,

some woodwork. Secondary roles may include educational presentations to

schools, owl care/rehabilitation and H&S monitoring.

Starting Salary £19,573. Initial 12-month contract. Based at Ashburton,

Devon, UK. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 14th December 2021.
