Neighbourhood Officer

Objective

To support the delivery of Milton Keynes’ community engagement work: helping to research, plan and deliver engagement projects and initiatives. Coordinate and develop the work of the Parish Forum. To strengthen the performance management work of the environmental service and neighbourhood management team.

Background

The officer will be working with Environmental Services and with the Neighbourhoods team within Milton Keynes Council, moving towards a more sustainable and community led future.

Neighbourhood Management MK is a new approach to local service delivery that enables local communities, stakeholders and service providers to work together at a neighbourhood level to improve local service delivery and the quality of life through engagement, communication, prioritisation and choice.
