The Nature Reserves Officer will be responsible for leading on the implementation of practical management and monitoring of the network of Ulster Wildlife Trust (UWT) nature reserves across Northern Ireland, ensuring all legal and organisational requirements are met.

The person appointed will be responsible for the management and completion of management plans for UWT Sites. The appointed person will assist in the line-management of trainees and volunteers to undertake work on nature reserves. They will be expected to implement Trust procedures relating to health and safety matters on nature reserves and assist in the reporting requirements across the department.

Fixed-term to 31 March 2013. 37.5 hours per week to include some weekend and evening work. Salary: £16,026 - £22,283 per annum

Based at Ulster Wildlife Trust Offices, Crossgar, Co. Down with regular travel throughout NI, and occasional travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
