Masters degree in Environmental Education a plus. • Minimum 1 year teaching experience in an outdoor/informal setting. • Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role preferred. Knowledge/Skills: • Strong working knowledge of natural sciences and EE instructional technique. • Must demonstrate creativity and innovation. • Ability to have fun, be flexible, and share enthusiasm. • Must display professionalism, independent judgment, decision-making ability, and self motivation. • Team player with demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people. • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communication skills. • Willingness to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs. • Must be in good physical condition, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and be able to work outside in any weather for extended periods of time. • Basic CPR and First Aid preferred.
