NCC takes a collaborative, science-based approach to achieve conservation success for the sake of nature and Canadians. With a national office in Toronto and seven regional offices across the country, NCC delivers results you can walk on. Purpose and General Description:The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) protects critical natural areas of ecological importance through land securement and stewardship. NCC Saskatchewan has identified 8 Natural Areas – Cypress Uplands, East Parklands, Missouri Coteau, Moose Mountain, Milk River Basin, Saskatoon Prairie, Upper Qu’Appelle and West Parklands to focus our conservation work. NCC Saskatchewan is responsible for the stewardship of over 150,000 acres of habitat, including 180 Conservation Agreements and 75 properties that we own. Duties and Responsibilities:
