About the role:

The National Manager Major Relationships is responsible for generating major donation income for Greenpeace Australia Pacific. The role will provide expert analysis on the Major Relationships Program and provide reporting on the Key Performance Indicators against actual performance in relation to budget. The position reports directly to the Head of Advancement and works closely with the CEO and other Senior Staff to develop supporter relationships and maximise income.

The National Major Relationships Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategy to engage and acquire high value donors, nurture and increase bequests, manage and develop key supporters and drive income from the philanthropic sector, including trusts and foundations.

To be successful you will have an outstanding track record in ‘making the ask’ in either a philanthropic or commercial environment, which has resulted in significant donations or sales. You will also have highly tuned relationship nurturing and/ or business development experience working with senior executives, board directors and other key supporters.
