Description
We want to change the way we and communities in Manchester look at the biodiversity of the City forever. Do you have the drive, ability and confidence to help us deliver this ambition?

Lancashire Wildlife Trust, in partnership with Manchester City Council, are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional people skills, good ecological knowledge and the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences to spearhead the Trust's 'My Wild City' programme which aims to transform Manchester into a nature-rich city.

As the 'My Wild City' Officer you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant difference for wildlife in Manchester. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and leading a programme of engagement to raise the profile of nature in Manchester to galvanise and generate activity amongst the public, partners and other stakeholders.

Working alongside colleagues you will spearhead the development and publication of a new 10 year biodiversity strategy for this internationally important city which will help to inspire individuals, communities, partners and businesses across the city to create, restore and connect space for wildlife throughout our urban landscape.
