This vacancy in the Knowledge & Information Management Section needs to be filled by an enthusiastic MS Access developer who is interested in biodiversity information and keen to gain experience in .NET, database and open source technologies. Your tertiary qualification must be enhanced by at least two years’ experience in database and front-end development using MS Access. You must be familiar with general database design principles, as well as the development of queries, user forms and reports within the MS Access framework. VBA programming skills and knowledge of the Access object model would prove advantageous. As MS Access Developer, your responsibilities will include: SANBI offers an annual salary of R145 920 plus additional fringe benefits, which include attractive medical aid and pension schemes.
