The Scottish Wildlife Trust is at the forefront of wildlife conservation in Scotland with over 32,000 members, an amazing network of wildlife reserves, and impressive range of practical conservation projects and an excellent reputation in the field of environmental policy and advocacy.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to monitor and record wildlife and recreation (sailing and wildfowling) at Montrose Basin, one of our internationally important nature reserves. Working with the local community, landowners, volunteers, contractors and statutory bodies, you will supervise and assist in practical conservation work, lead on guided walks and support the current on-site environmental education programme.
Applicants must hold an HNC or equivalent and be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and IT skills along with a strong knowledge of nature conservation management issues is essential, as is a current driving licence and the ability to work some weekends and evenings
