Desirable Qualification
Field research experience in Wildlife Science: experience in carnivore and ungulate survey, camera trapping, Distance sampling, basic knowledge of GIS and ecological data analysis software.
Candidates with strong physical and mental abilities and a keen desire to carryout field work in the remote areas may apply.
Description of Work
The project aims to collect information regarding the status of tiger, co-predators, prey and their habitat in Kanha, Ranthambhore, Corbett, Tadoba, Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam and Anamalai Tiger Reserves. The project also envisages collecting intensive data on tiger survival and dispersal patterns and also the spatio-temporal changes in its occupancy of the habitat.
