Monitoring Ecologist, WalesClosing date: 27 February 2009 Salary Band C: £19,787 - £23,335pa (dependant on experience) plus pension contribution. Initial fixed term contract to September 2011 with possible 15 month extension (subject to funding) We require a highly motivated and experienced Monitoring Ecologist, based at Butterfly Conservation’s Wales Office in Swansea. Working all over Wales you will undertake monitoring of three butterfly species as part of a WAG AES contract. Good knowledge of species surveys and experience of data handling and statistical analysis is essential. This post is ideal for a self-motivated individual capable of working as part of wider partnership. A sound background in species and habitat conservation is essential, along with excellent communication skills. Closing date: noon on Friday 27 February 2009 |
