Description

Are you motivated by a working life characterised by high diversity and extrovert interaction with many stakeholders and would you like to make a difference and impact the optimisation and improvement of business processes and module development?

Join us and become Module Portfolio Manager in our department CoE Costing & Portfolio Management where you can help boost team of dedicated, hard-working colleagues, focusing on module portfolio alignment and optimisation in both module development and asset projects.

CoE Costing & Portfolio Management is responsible for managing the overall module portfolio, including reporting of module and portfolio progress and targets. The department has responsibility for the reference plant, and we ensure module portfolio alignment and optimisation of the business case to specific asset projects, including the management of gate processes and deliveries for Module Portfolio Delivery.

The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of five business units in DONG Energy. For more than 20 years, Wind Power has been working actively in the offshore wind industry, and as a result of this, we now have unique knowledge within this field. We use our know-how in all phases of our offshore wind turbine projects - from the early development phase, through the constructing phase to operation and maintenance. Safety is a focus area in everything we do. We have a strong market position, and we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.

You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work.

Areas of responsibility
As Module Portfolio Manager, your key responsibility will be to manage the Module Portfolio Delivery gate process towards specific asset projects. Part of the process will be to consolidate all gate material and module data, evaluate the business case against the reference plant, and to house gate material in module portfolio delivery and module development. It is key to ensure gate approval by executive management in line with development timeline and the coordination of Module Portfolio Delivery work across product lines.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • handle and initiate module selection to asset projects
  • be responsible for administration of timeline for gate processes and delivery of gate material
  • secure progress and proactive management of gate deliverables
  • collect and consolidate gate material for Module Development and Module Portfolio Delivery processes
  • ensure that module deliverables are in line with gate criteria.

We are constantly optimising the cost of electricity for our offshore wind farms. Obviously, the process of lowering cost of electricity has extensive strategic attention and is the main focus in all engineering and procurement activities. Going forward, you will thus help develop a standard wind farm which will be the success criteria as reference plant to continuously optimise the complete business case for all future asset projects.

Your profile
You have a relevant education as Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or another relevant master degree and experience in managing complex projects, ideally from the offshore wind industry.

You thrive in an international environment and are able to handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing perspective. Additionally, you can achieve consensus on decisions and create excellent results through teamwork.

It is essential that you can establish good relationships with your colleagues and business partners and communicate your results efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, it is vital that you speak and write English fluently.

We offer
A unique and challenging job where you have every opportunity to develop your skills, when you help to carry out some of the world's largest offshore wind projects. A working life characterised by high diversity and extrovert interaction with many stakeholders across the entire organisation.

In DONG Energy, we have big ambitions. Towards 2020, we will double our production of oil and natural gas, quadruple our installed capacity within offshore wind power and double the share of biomass in the electricity and heat production at our Danish power stations. In addition, we are working on developing energy-saving solutions for everybody.

We have a high level of expertise and many complex and challenging work tasks. We work professionally and efficiently with some of the world's largest offshore wind projects. We are an ambitious organisation with committed and dedicated colleagues. In DONG Energy, you will experience a professional environment with a lot of opportunities and responsibility.
