Purpose of the position

The person employed in this position will serve to develop, implement, and coordinate programs for the Mississippi River Field Institute.  The Institute’s programs will focus on fostering stewardship for Mississippi River restoration and conservation and help guide the implementation of site-based projects to protect and restore the river’s ecosystem for birds, fish, other wildlife and people. The geographic focus of this position will be the Mississippi River watershed.  Full details online.
