We provide clients with a comprehensive range of engineering and environmental services and have been providing expert advice to the oil and gas industry worldwide for many years. We are looking to recruit, for our office in Ghent, a project manager to join our growing Soil & Groundwater department. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a varied range of exciting projects assisting industrial and corporate level clients. - As a Project Manager, you will be managing soil & groundwater investigations and remediation projects across Belgium, but mainly in Flanders. - Together with our team of senior project managers and technical specialists from both URS offices (Ghent & Holsbeek) in Belgium, you will take the lead in developing the appropriate investigation and/or remediation strategy for clients. - You will actively participate in proposal writing (both in Dutch and English). - You will be responsible for the financial management of projects. Requirements include: - A masters degree in Science or Applied Science and minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in soil & groundwater investigations and/or remediation projects; - Ability to independently manage large soil & groundwater investigations and remediation. - A strong technical interest is required. - You are a native Dutch speaker and speak and write fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an advantage. - Working experience in an international and/or consultancy environment is an advantage. - Strong project management skills. - Strong strategic, organisational and communication skills.
