Purpose of the Middle Donor unit The Middle Donor Program is working to create a specific pool of supporters who can contribute high value donations towards the work being done by Greenpeace. Purpose of the role Raising income with a focus on securing individual 5-6 figure donations from donors who have donated or are currently donating to Greenpeace What will you be doing?
- Break down annual targets into monthly and weekly plans in consultation with Line Manager
- Identify donors to be reached (from a database of existing donors) on a monthly basis.
- Call donors from existing donor database, fixing up appointments, meeting them and converting them to middle/major donor supporters
- Identify prospective major donors within the data provided
- Develop excellent relationships with donors, providing the highest level of donor care
- Identify innovative ways to engage donors with Greenpeace's work.
- Ensure donors reporting requirements are met
- Maintain proper records of all interactions with the donors
- Occasionally assign Middle Donor leads to Direct Dialogue Fund Raisers, who can do the appointment on behalf of the Middle Donor Officer, in consultation with the line manager and the respective Branch head.
- Update contact details of the donors on a regular basis.
What you need for this position?
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in Sales/ Direct Marketing / Customer Service / Relationship Management.
- Experience of handling key accounts/high networth individuals is desirable.
- Graduate/Post Graduate qualification in management are desirable but not essential
- Computer literacy is essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
