AWF is currently seeking a Membership Production Associate. This position will support the Membership Department’s fundraising goals through providing key assistance to overall campaign development and traffic and production support for offline projects. This individual will also serve as the primary contact for the membership workplace giving program and corresponding charitable state registration management.
Key responsibilities:
Membership Communications Strategy
- With the AWF and fundraising counsel teams, participates in strategy development and execution within overall campaigns.
- Serves as the primary contact for asset collection and fact-checking for online and offline membership communications materials.
- Provides light content development, proofreading, and creative proofing support as needed.
Traffic Management (Offline Campaigns)
- Supports the maintenance of the membership offline project traffic and CRM module, Blackbaud Direct Marketing.
- Provides backup support as needed to the AWF database team by executing membership data hygiene queries.
- Maintains electronic and hard copy archives of all project materials.
Membership Production Management
- Provides production management support for all offline membership campaigns (renewals, acquisitions, special appeals, reinstatements, newsletters, and acknowledgments) including proofreading, art review, print production management, and mailshop quality control reviews.
Reporting and Analysis
- Supports Membership and Production Manager as needed with data pulls and analysis for monthly and quarterly program reporting to the executive team.
Workplace Giving
- Manages AWF’s workplace giving relationship with EarthShare, including campaign applications, attending Earthshare and CFC events, and identifying new areas of participation and marketing opportunities.
- Partners with the database team to ensure that workplace giving donors are properly coded to receive appropriate communications treatment.
- Manages acknowledgement process for workplace gifts.
Charitable State Registration
- Manages AWF’s charitable state registration process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of applications.
- Maintains digital application archives.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for our partnering vendor.
Marketing Production Management
- Supports Membership and Production Manager with obtaining and reviewing print and mailshop quotes, proofreading, prepress management, and production management of ad-hoc printed marketing projects.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Marketing/Communications preferred)
- Have 2+ years’ experience
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a team as well as independently
- Have strong analytical skills
- Be an efficient and competent multi-tasker
- Be a creative problem solver
- Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have an understanding of printing or mailshop production process (preferred)
- Have experience with Blackbaud Direct Marketing (preferred)
