Rocky Mountain Institute and Carbon War Room are seeking a Media Relations Manager with 3-5 years of experience in the media and communications field. This hire will become a full-time member of a 13-person Marketing and Communications team. The Media Relations Senior Associate will lead the media team in the execution of media and communications initiatives, campaigns and tasks including: managing a third-party agency, coordinating interviews and external communications outputs, media monitoring, fielding and responding to media calls and emails, building and maintaining media relationships, administrative support for PR activities, and overseeing the work of a less experienced resource partially dedicated to supporting media work. This position is located in Boulder, Colorado and reports to the Managing Director of Communications.
