Media and Communication Officer for BirdLife Europe

BirdLife Europe, in Brussels, is looking to recruit: 

Media and Communication Officer

Overall purpose of the job:

 The Media and Communication Officer will work with the Head of European Communication and Marketing to promote and create more visibility for BirdLife Europe and BirdLife International environmental policy priorities towards EU, national media and global conventions and institutions.

 Profile:

 The successful candidate will have a relevant university degree with at least three years experience in press, media and public relations with particular reference to the EU institutions, fluent English, good interpersonal and team working skills.

Salary Package:

2.800-3.300€ Gross /month depending on experience. Holiday allowance + 13th month as well as pension scheme and benefit.

Closing date: 7^th March 2011

Interview days: week of 21st or 28^th March (tbc)
