Vestas Wind Systems A/S has been successful in producing, selling and servicing wind turbines all over the world since 1978. Vestas Central Europe as one of the well-established Business Units is responsible for all sales and service related activities in Germany, Benelux, Austria, most countries in Eastern Europe and South-East Africa. For our department Technology – Power Plant Engineering we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (m/f) with the following job profile:
 
Responsibilities and tasks:
  • Development of improvement initiatives for the performance of mechanical components with methods like Six Sigma and others
  • Collaboration with internal and external service providers, for example Engineering service providers
  • Conduct product analysis and secure DIN, Dibt, IEC and EC standards in together with the foundation, tower and machine design
  • Root-Cause-Analysis of mechanical and electrical failure symptoms
  • Development and rearrangement of operational processes
  • Conduct different Due Dilligence methods in the area of components, systems and services of our subcontractors
