The Mauritian Wildlife Foundation has successfully pioneered species-based rehabilitation programmes for several Critically Endangered species.You will form part of this internationally acclaimed NGO, this role will not only add significantly to the conservation recovery programme of the Mauritius Fody, but is an opportunity for you to gain valuable experience and practical-based skills.This role will be focusing on the long-term monitoring and management of a small passerine reintroduced to an offshore island surrounded by coral reef.Requirements:Candidates must have a relevant Ecology/Zoology/Biology based undergraduate degree and field-based experience, bird experience is not essential but would be useful.Other practical based skills are an advantage.Only enthusiastic and serious candidates please.What’s covered?Accommodation, transport and Visas are included.
