Marketing Supervisor
Location: Oregon - Portland HQ Office

Description
PECI is seeking a Marketing Supervisor to manage energy efficiency marketing programs for one or more accounts. The ideal candidate has excellent relationship, team, and project management skills, along with a proven ability to successfully develop and direct marketing strategies from conception through implementation. This person will be responsible for ensuring the planning, recommendations, implementation, execution and tracking of their programs successfully.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
  • Hire, manage and develop resources, ensuring marketing expertise and capabilities meet program needs
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of programs to ensure marketing is in alignment with goals
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for one or more program’s marketing output, applying consumer trends and competitive offerings for effective marketing strategies
  • Responsible for ensuring practice vision is integrated into program marketing efforts
  • Oversee one or more program’s marketing deliverables; manage projects as necessary
  • Ensure brand platform is adhered to for all program marketing work
  • Responsible for meeting client marketing contract requirements
Relationship Management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build strong partnerships in sometimes challenging situations
  • Collaborate with program leads to develop marketing strategies
  • Manage client marketing counterpart relationship for program marketing projects
Project Management
  • Oversee program marketing budgets and resource forecasts, ensuring targets are met and the program(s) has the resources necessary to succeed
  • Ensure program annual and quarterly marketing plans are developed and scoped to meet client goals, budget and timelines
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team to develop strategies/concepts
  • Oversee all output, ensuring marketing plans are delivered on time, budget and message
  • Responsible for ensuring policies and standards are integrated into marketing efforts
  • Ensure project management best practices are followed
Research and Measurement
  • Utilize measurement methodology and tools to track marketing effectiveness
  • Oversee market research and analysis to inform strategic planning and goal setting in collaboration with program team, including defining research requirements
  • Measure, track and evaluate marketing initiatives across multiple criteria including response rates, cost/revenue analysis and overall results
 
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in strategic marketing planning and development, relationship management and project management
  • A minimum of 2 years managing teams, providing mentoring and performance management
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred; graduate degree preferred
  • Well-rounded marketing experience, familiar with print, digital, PR, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically
  • Strong analytical skills (business model building, results tracking and interpretation)
  • Ability to interpret and apply market research data to strategic plans
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with proven ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects under strict deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and issue resolution
  • Strong experience in budget and resource management
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders and various personalities
  • Strong MS Office, marketing and design principles
