My client is one of the biggest global manufacturers, specializing in manufacturing mono and polycrystalline silicon modules with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific regions with a very strong business plan and balance sheet. They seek a driven, highly-organized individual with great communication and leadership skills to join their team.


Position Overview:
Reporting directly into the Chief Strategy Officer. The Marketing Director will Manage the marketing team members within the Global Marketing Team and will be responsible for marketing strategy planning, proposed branding, public relations, Internet, media activities, direction and implementation of specific programs. They will lead their marketing efforts and increase their brand awareness. They seek a driven, highly-organized individual with great communication and leadership skills to join their team.                                                        

Responsibilities:-

 

  • ·         Responsible for and oversee  marketing strategy planning, draft the overall work plan of marketing, proposed branding, public relations, Internet, media activities, direction and implementation of specific programs
  • ·         Responsible for organizing domestic and international industry exhibition
  • ·         Responsible for market segmentation and development of integrated campaigns for the business units solar photovoltaic (PV)  cells, modules and systems
  • ·         Creation of a market and application oriented module portfolio including technical specifications and product names
  • ·         Development of product USP's and communication tools
  • ·         Increase the brand awareness
  • ·         Increase brand recognition among consumers and new installers
  • ·         Develop product strategy definition, marketing requirements analysis, and pricing
  • ·         Conduct relevant market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
  • ·         Establish product-specific strategic positioning strategies
  • ·         Interact with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance the competitiveness of existing product
  • ·         Oversee and coordinate marketing support programs and product launches
  • ·         Oversee planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials

 

Education:-

  • Must have strong educational background in business administration or marketing discipline

 

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 5 years of marketing experience, with an excellent track record in the solar photovoltaic (PV), business development experience also a plus
  • ·         Excellent problem solving skills
  • ·         Proven track success in developing distinguishing offers in very competitive market environment
  • ·         Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the global solar industry
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proven track record in solar business development and growth

 

General Requirements:-

  • ·         Good MS Office skills (excellent Excel skills). 
  • Willing to travel
  • ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Good time management skills and multi-tasking skills

 

Key Skills:

Solar PV, business administration or marketing background, good organizational skills, attention to detail, good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, team leadership(strong advantage)
