MARKETING COORDINATOR
Earthdance Creative Living Project, Plainfield, MA $15/hour | Up to 8 hours a week or 32 hours a month |
The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Executive Artistic Director to plan and implement an integrated marketing strategy for all Earthdance curated programs and events. This includes the design of printed materials, ongoing e-marketing, producing the monthly e-newsletter and coordination of Earthdance’s web presence, social media and publicity. This position supports programmatic and development goals by ensuring professional, timely and creative marketing materials that communicate the diverse offerings of an internationally reknown interdisciplinary workshop residency and retreat center.
This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign),Constant Contact, and familiarity with web-content management software, as well as an ability to work independently and manage the support of interns.
Responsibilities: Marketing Campaign Development and Budget Management

Work with Executive Artistic Director to develop and manage a comprehensive marketing campaign.

Maintain and adjust branding to ensure that the public is presented with an appropriate and professional image of the organization.

Manage, supervise, and schedule interns as available for marketing projects.

Assist Executive Artistic Director in drafting annual marketing budget, and monitor and track spending.
Media Relations

Maintain a list of media contacts, and build relationships with local media outlets.

Draft and distribute press releases and announcements on mainstream and social media.

Coordinate regular submissions to the Earthdance blog by Earthdance Staff and community members
Collateral Development

Working within budget, provide and/or oversee graphic design, artwork, and production of all marketing collateral including programmatic postcards, posters, the annual brochure calendar, e-cards, merchandise etc.

With Executive Artistic Director write and/or edit copy and proofread all materials intended for public distribution

Coordinate printing with vendors to ensure timeliness, high quality, and cost effectiveness.
E-marketing

Provide regular website maintenance or work closely with Webmaster and Office Manager to manage the website, updating content on a regular basis to ensure all information is accurate, up-to-date and effectively communicated.

Produce the SCORE, Earthdance’s monthly email newsletter

Post information about programs and events on internet event and residency listing sites.

Explore new technology marketing options, and upon consultation with Executive Artistic Director, provide follow-through on new initiatives.
Outreach

Coordinate outreach to the local community and Five Colleges

Build strategic partnerships with local and regional organizations and institutions

Promote, and manage promotion of performance tours to area schools, libraries, and theatres.

Respond to community and press inquiries through email, phone conversations, and in writing.
