PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the coordination and development of effective communications materials for WECC clients.

a. Create marketing materials such as advertisements, coupons, fact sheets, newsletters and other promotional pieces.
b. Track use and needs for existing and new marketing literature. This includes the need for ongoing changes.
c. Proofread, and in some cases write, marketing and public outreach materials, including press releases and talking points.
d. Track development of communications materials and ensure appropriate deadlines and budgets are met.
e. Place or purchase media as program deems necessary.
f. Assist with or manage regular program mailings assuring they are mailed in a timely manner and with appropriate mailing lists.
g. Assist in event coordination, including developing collateral and marketing needs for events, preparation, set up and tear down.

2. Implement Cooperative Advertising For All Programs
a. Makes annual revisions to the guidelines for advertising to keep them up-to-date and coordinate guidelines across programs where possible. Ensure that guidelines help forward the Program’s marketing goals.
b. Reviews and approves all advertising submitted by program allies (builders, contractors, retailers, etc.). This includes securing approvals from client or program administrators.
c. Work with program allies (builders, contractors, retailers, etc.) to modify advertising as necessary.
d. Processes all invoices for advertisements.
e. Tracks ally reimbursements to ensure that payments are within limits set by the program and provide statements to those allies so they know how much money they still have available to them.
f. Oversees the cooperative advertising budgets and communicate amounts spent to marketing program managers.

3. Provide support to Residential Programs Marketing Manager
a. Create and maintain email/postal distribution lists
b. Provide background information and project research as needed
c. Help coordinate meetings, agendas and record minutes for marketing meetings with internal and external program staff and contractors. In some cases attendance as program marketing liaison will be required.
d. Proactively look for ways to improve marketing and outreach efforts for Marketing Services.
e. Lead efforts on electronic filing of marketing materials and ensure Web site is updated with such materials.
