The Nature Conservancy seeks a Marketing coordinator for the Magdalena Project. This project will strive to ensure the long-term viability of the river basin by reducing major threats to the biodiversity of the Magdalena River and its tributaries, coordinating effort with a team of TNC staff from the Northern Andes Southern Central America (NASCA) Conservation Program and its five strategies (Productive Landscapes, Protected Areas, Infrastructure, Water Funds and Indigenous Lands) to work with key internal and external partners to define a vision that unites TNC, the Government of Colombia and other national/local partners into a larger landscape conservation area.
The Marketing Coordinator will implement tactics in approved communications plan. May include coordinating marketing projects, appeals, renewals, annual giving, and developing related program literature. Works closely with program consultants and vendors to oversee all phases of the project to meet quality control standards. Tracks and analyzes project results, reports findings, and works with senior marketing managers to make and implement strategic recommendations. Uses software systems to produce key stakeholders research, reports and analysis. Performs administrative function as required. Other responsibilities include working with the Magdalena project and NASCA staff to develop, draft, and edit donor proposals, donor reports, grant requests, correspondence, newsletters, Annual Report content, internal TNC communications, brochures, videos, web information, preparing PowerPoint presentations, managing country photo libraries and other files. This position will be supervised by the Magdalena Project Coordinator for the NASCA Conservation Program and will be based in the Bogotá Office in Colombia.
