The Marketing Analyst will analyze marketing programs and identify causal relationships between marketing activities/channels and financial outcomes. They will handle ROI analysis that optimizes marketing spend and company profitability. The Marketing Analyst will also analyze transactional data using various mathematical/statistical methods to identify relationships and trends between customer demographics and performance of company products. They should have experience in financial analysis/accounting and/or technical audits and have strong experience in a database environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze marketing programs and identify causal relationships between marketing activities/channels and financial outcomes; ROI analysis that optimizes marketing spend and company profitability.
  • Analyze transactional data using various mathematical / statistical methods to identify relationships and trends between customer demographics and performance of company products.
  • Design queries for various databases / data sources using Business Intelligence software. Extract, synthesize, and evaluate large data sets. Develop analyses, reports, conclusions, and actionable insights.
  • Work on multiple business intelligence initiatives, consisting of both standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

Proficient at assembling presentation documents and presenting internally as needed.
  • Project Management: Strong project management and time management skills. Comfortable and effective at juggling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast paced work environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis/accounting and/or technical audits. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Sciences, or a related field required. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Foundational understanding/experience of accounting preferred. Strong experience working in a database environment (SQL preferred) and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
