I.M. Systems Group (IMSG) and MBC Applied Environmental Sciences (MBC) are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team efforts to support NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California. IMSG/MBC currently has a requirement to hire professional, technical and analytical scientific personnel with Ph.D., Master's and Bachelor degrees. Key personnel include Scientists, Biological Technicians, GIS Technicians, Scientific Technical Writers, Field Research Leaders, Assistants and Technicians, Economists, Natural Resource Specialists, Technical Scientific Illustrators and Wildlife Veterinarians.
Qualifications:
The Government requires that all Scientists have at least a baccalaureate degree or equivalent in physical and biological sciences. This includes studies in the following disciplines: math, statistics, engineering, computer science, physiology, molecular biology, genetics, oceanography, fishery biology, and ecology,. Periods of performance may vary by position. The performance locations may be in La Jolla, Santa Cruz, Pacific Grove, and other locations in California as well as on vessel charters and specified research sites at various locations in the United States.
