Description

We are now looking to recruit a Marine Research Assistant is to run the routine seawater and sea ice sampling, perform sample processing and associated analyses in support of up to three projects funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

Qualifications: Higher education qualification in a relevant scientific discipline (Marine science, Biology, Oceanography) or equivalent

Duration: 12 months - January 15 to January 16

Salary: Salary: £23,937 per annum, rising annually. Additionally, upon completion of a successful tour, you will receive a 10% bonus. BAS provides all training required, outdoor and work clothing, tools, and accommodation (whilst in the Antarctic).
