Immerse yourself in Spanish culture and join a conservation, childcare, marine or community development project in the coastal cities of Valencia or Denia. Volunteers in Spain can make a difference by helping to conserve and improve local knowledge of the environment, minimising the environmental impact of tourism or getting involved in community development projects and working with children. Volunteers can choose from one of four volunteer projects on the Eastern coast of Spain:
Volunteers joining the Conservation Projects must be 18 years or older and should be fit and physically prepared to work in open environments, and also able to swim. A basic level of Spanish is also recommended. N.B. You can still join this project if you have no Spanish to begin with - we can arrange a Spanish course for you before you start your volunteering. Volunteers can join the project for a minimum of 2 weeks. Individuals, groups and families all welcome.
