My client is one of the most recognized brands internationally which a strong market reputation in the manufacturing of wind turbines. They have been involved in the manufacturing of wind turbines internationally for over 2 decades and are recognised as being at the forefront of wind turbine development.
Core Criteria:
My client requires a managing director that has experience and skills at encouraging the growth of onshore wind projects in Poland and has a proven track record at leading and managing teams within a the wind industry. This position will report directly into the senior managment team of one of the largets wind companies in the world.
Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for the growth of the company in Poland including manginag the enitre development process from business development through to project constructiom
- Ensure that your team in involved in developing initial relationships with developers, operators, manufacturers and investors of onshore wind project in Poland
- You will travel extensively across Poland meeting with potential customers in order to encourage growth
- You will lead and manage the teams of negotiators, engineers, developers and support staff
- Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
- You will have full authority to represent my client in all matters across the company in Poland
Education:-
A MSc minimum in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or business managment degree.
Core Requirements:-
- You will have 1-4 years experience in a managing director, country manager or senior business development position in the Polish onshore wind market
- You will have worked in the wind industry for 5-10 years with a focus in the onshore market
- Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
General Requirement
- Ability to travel across Europe
- Proficient with making impactful presentations
- The ability to manage multiple teams with various skill sets across the company
- Excellent ability to communicate and work in English with Polish language skills a bonus
Key Skills:-
Energy, renewable energy, construction, negotiations experience, business development, sales of wind turbines or large wind projects, exceptional team leadership skills, project managers, experience with complex contact negotiations and complex stakeholder and customer management experience.
