My client is a global developer of onshore wind projects, who is currenlty expnding across Europe. They have been involved in a number of projects in either a construction, operations and a consultancy role with expereinced onshore wind developers. This team has a proven track record of working to the highest standard and achieving the results as required by clients andcustomers alike.
Core Criteria:
My client requires a managing director that has experience and skills at encouraging the growth of onshore wind projects in Poland and has a proven track record at leading and managing teams within a wind farm development company. This position will involve strong commercial expereince along with technical knowledge and expereince managing in the Polish onshore wind market.
Responsibilities:-
- · You will be responsible for the growth of the company in Poland including manginag the enitre development process from business development through to project construstiom
- · You will ensure that your team in involved in developing initial relationships with developers, operators, manufacturers and investors of onshore wind project
- · You will travel extensively across Poland meeting with potential customers in order to encourage the growth of project developments across Poland
- · You will lead and manage the teams of negotiators, engineers, developers and support staff
- · Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
- · You will have full authority to represent my client in all matters across the company in Poland
- · You will ensure that all deals are within the requires guidelines of the company and encourage ongoing relationships and developments.
- · Work with the technical, legal and projects teams providing support through the entire development process
- · You will need to have the ability to manage an entire team while ensuring that the company continues to grow across Poland
Education:-
A MSc minimum in civel, mechanical or electrical engineering or business managment degree.
Core Requirements:-
- You will have 2-4 years experience in a managing director or country manager position in the Polish onshore wind market
- · You will have worked in the wind industry for 6-8 years with a focus in the onshore market
- · An excellent understanding of regulatory requirements in the onshore wind industry in Europe
- · Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- · Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
General Requirement
- Ability to travel across Europe
- · Proficient with making impactful presentations
- · The ability to manage multiple teams with various skill sets across the company
- · Excellent ability to communicate and work in English and Polish is a must
Key Skills:-
Energy, renewable energy, construction, negotiations experience, business development, sales of wind turbines or large wind projects, exceptional team leadership skills, project managers, experience with complex contact negotiations and complex stakeholder and customer management experience.
