My client is one of the leading solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturers globally and over a number of years built up a strong track record in the manufacturering of both crystalline and thin-film solar PV modules. They are currently looking to expand their operations and as such are looking to recruit an MD in France.
Responsibilities:-
- Full responsibility of the commercial, technical and organisational interests on site
- Supervise and oversee of all matters on the commercial side
- Support for projects in the project development phase
- Coordinate project developers in all aspects of the building approval process
- Liaise with onsite project developers to ensure punctual completion of solar projects
- Overseeing the entire operation, business management, planning, invoicing, parts procurement and managing the warehouse
- Maintaining and developing existing and new clients and fostering effective relationships with key stake-holders and decision makers
- Direct the support services department’s activities to achieve the objectives established in the company’s Strategic Plan
- Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all existing and potential customers of the company
Requirements:-
- At least 5 years work experience with a proven track record in a similar role in the solar space
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Background in plant or power station construction.
- Must have a strong understanding of technical matters, the ability to think in economic perspective and experience of project development.
- Experience in the photovoltaic industry(desirable)
- Bachelor’s Degree(technical/business management discipline)
- Must have excellent (spoken, written and reading) French language skills( German, Italian, English or Spanish Desirable)
- Excellent problem solving skills
