World leading built environment research centre BRE is seeking an exceptional and visionary individual to lead its assurance business (BRE Global) into a new phase of international development...

Responsible for a range of world leading third-party assurance services including, BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method), LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board), Product testing, Training, Energy Assessor Accreditation, Microgeneration, Responsible sourcing, ISO9001 and ISO14001, the Managing Director of Assurance will be tasked with identifying and exploiting global opportunities for the expansion of the business in a way that brings long term value to customers and meets the BRE Group’s growth targets.

Based in Watford with regional facilities in Scotland and Wales and offices in Canada, China and India, the BRE Group is a £40m turnover research, consultancy, training, testing and certification business focussed on the built environment.  With a mission to Build a better world together, we provide a unique resource to government, the private sector and international clients.

BRE is owned by the BRE Trust, a charitable organisation representing interests across the built environment.  The Trust uses the profits made by its companies to fund research and education that advances knowledge of the built environment.
