Regulators also benefit from compliance-ready materials.

  • Representing CDSB on various international working groups, advisory bodies and partner / stakeholder committees;
  • Managing a stream of work which both informs and at times directly engages with policymakers and regulators who are responsible for corporate disclosure rules; and
  • Acting as an external spokesperson as required, and speaking at events.

Required skills and experience:

  • A relevant professional qualification;
  • At least five years work experience of managing medium/large teams in a fast-paced and changing environment, of developing high-performing, diversified teams, and of carrying out strategic planning;
  • Ability to develop and execute project plans and budgetary processes;
  • Experience in securing funding from a variety of sources
  • Strong English language skills, both oral and written;
  • Able to prioritise, effectively manage and deliver on a large and diverse workload, to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and motivate others; able to act on own initiative;

  • The ability to negotiate with others, to liaise with a wide range of people, and to act with credibility, tact and diplomacy;
  • Good understanding of how policy and legislation is developed;
  • Understanding and commitment to the missions of CDSB & CDP.

Desired

  • Knowledge of latest developments in corporate disclosure rules and regulations in multiple geographies, and a network of contacts in this field;
  • Knowledge of latest developments in natural resource accounting;
  • An understanding of integrated reporting and the changing environmental trends and policies that will affect companies including wider business and societal impacts;
  • Experience of working with large multi-national companies or complex organisations;
  • Experience with coordinating international advisory working groups.

This is a full-time role, commencing no later than mid-June based at CDP’s office in the City of London.
