My client is a leading certification body serving the global manufacturing industry and their environmental and sustainability department are looking to hire an outstanding individual as their new Business Development Manager in China.

CORE CRITERA:

My client requires a candidate who has experience in the negotiation and management of high value customers and accounts. The candidate will have a University degree in either Marketing, Business Administration or a similar discipline and either 5 years experience in corporate account management at the highest level or 8 years experience in sales and/or marketing areas with experience in account management.

The candidate will have the ability to sell at the highest level and a detailed understanding of target markets and product lines within the industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Coordinating and managing on a regional basis over all related issues working with clients on their environmental requirements
  • ·         Responding efficiently to customer issues and queries
  • ·         Working with sales managers on strategies to achieve agreement of contracts with new clients and stimulate revenue growth
  • ·         Development and execution of presentations and de-briefing
  • ·         Developing strategies, plans and goals on a global scale with industry leaders
  • ·         Focusing on customer service and maintaining relationships and expansion
  • ·         Taking full responsibility for the development of the company’s environmental certification business in China

 

Skills and qualifications needed:

  • ·         The successful candidate will have a demonstrated selling at the highest level and a proven record in managing high-value accounts
  • ·         Must be Manager/Director level
  • ·         Will have a strong understanding of the environmental certification industry
  • ·         Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar
  • ·         5 years’ experience in corporate account management or 8 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing with experience in account management
  • ·         Willingness to move and work in Beijing/Shanghai, China is essential
  • ·         Must be fluent in spoken or written Mandarin
